  Chamber Service Project

Have you seen the "Adopt-a-Street" signs around Greenfield?  As part of the Downtown Revitalization effort, Chamber Member Businesses have adopted the streets of Greenfield.  This Chamber Service Project will hopefully encourage everyone to "Keep Greenfield Beautiful."

If you are interested in adopting a street, contact Nancy Lowe, Chamber President, at 417-637-2040, or send her an email.

Health Care & Nursing Home Facilities

The Dade County Nursing Home is based in Greenfield with a 120-bed skilled care facility with an adjoining Residential Care Facility.  Cox Hospital provides 24-hour ambulance service.  The community is also well-served by a number of health care professionals and facilities, including urgent care.

  Parks
Greenfield boasts a ten-acre city park with tennis courts, a basketball court, a public swimming pool (newly renovated) and a community building.

  Schools

Greenfield High School, the oldest high school in Southwest Missouri, opened  its doors in 1889.  The current Greenfield R-IV school system is fully accredited and features a modern junior high school and 14 classroom elementary school and a nineteen acre athletic complex.  School alumni and supporters raised funds to air condition the gym, cafeteria, and the high school band room at no cost to taxpayers.

The school is a member of the Spring River Valley Conference, competing well in both academic & athletic programs.

For more information on the Greenfield R-IV school system, including school and atheletic schedules, as well as annual performance report cards for the school district...visit their website: www.greenfield.k12.mo.us

We support our Wildcats!

  Senior Citizens Center

The Dade County Senior Center provides an atmosphere for the most deserving members of our community to gather for a hot meal, activities, and companionship. The Senior Center offers a full meal 5-days a week and offers special programs to members of the community. The county's "Meals on Wheels" program also operates out of the Senior Center.

The Senior Center is located 1 block North of the Greenfield square on Allison Street.  For more information, call 417-637-2626.
